last day before departure.. (english)

Hey everyone!

this week couldnt find time to write. The week went fast as well.

Had a good weekend in Gansbaai, for now had my last farewell barbecue. Was quite a shock now, because it really was the last time. Monday morning began quiet stressful actually. My driver was late. quarter to 8 we agreed because my bus was leaving at 08.35, but he only came quarter past 8. So it seemed like I was going to miss the bus. New plan was to go to a gas station after the stop where I would leave, because the bus has always a pause. Meanwhile, i also informed my coordinator, she was happy to take contact with the tour bus company and they would call the driver to ask if they could wait for me at the gas station. 10 min later I get a text message of the organisation, that the bus had an hour delay, so there was plenty of time. All that stress for nothing haha. Africa huh. so i did have some luck. Eventually I had to wait another hour for the bus. Once in Knysna, it was raining while the whole weekend had been great weather. So I didnt do much on monday.

The plan was for this week to do some things at the sports school , and play with that boy i gave some private tennis lessons, but his mother had already called me on the bus, he would be away until Friday.

So Tuesday I went back to the school sports, and my coordinator told in the morning, that their planning for the day was to go mow the cricket field. So when I heard the planning for the day I felt the writing was lay down. And indeed, ended up doing nothing all day. Luckily I go on quiet well with the guy who works there, and he also find it annoying that I cant do much, but he has little to say as well. went With him through the city but did not so much. Tennis instructor who i had also called, was there luckily again this week. After Tuesday I was bit through with my project here. thought like, just ging to have fun instead wastin time trying to get anything to do. In the evening I went with Tom (the English guy) to a pub to watch football and play bi of pool etc. The evening ended with a pub crawl, as every bar was closed early because there was nobody. which is not really weird on a Tuesday evening. But laughed a lot.

So Wednesday I was back at the tennis courts. Was very nice weather. played a bit myself, andthen did a little bit of coaching. were not so many children on Wednesday. Also went shopping for some souvenirs. in the Evening we all went out to watch football. at first i was just going with Tom, but everyone was ready for a drink.

Thursday I was at the primary school had to say goodbye to the kids. Gave some little things that I had along with some Dutch hue. also some treats for everyone. Was quite difficult to answer the questions the children had haha. About when I return, etc. but also very touching. After school I played tennis again. throughout the day the weather was gray. and finally it rained. in the Evening I made a typical South African dish named Bobotie. We had planned to go to the movies too, but we were late with dinner, had also been to town, and everyone was pretty tired too. So just stayed home.

Friday we all went to the school in the township where the American girl had organised a show. Each class did a little concert. Was really cool what she had managed to arrange, but it was very hectic. That day I saw a lot and learned again how things are wrong here. About my entire stay here i think I wont forget about, Everything I saw and learned on both sides of the population. the rich and poor sides.

Later that day I wondered bit through the city with Tom, in the evening we all went out. First a quick dinner somewhere, then to a pub. After that Tom and I nd two of the others went to Tryst, small nightclub which they have here. was Very nice evening. spent the evening in the pub with darts, and pool at Tryst. Was a very successful last evening.

Today all slept. Would you two to play tennis with that boy yet, but it's raining since last night, steal pipe. So now all within the seating unit. what movies to watch. Tonight I have a dinner at the boy home, I have given tennis lessons. Was invited by his parents.

Planning for tomorrow is getting ready for my trip, and watching football with Tom in town. I am leaving tomorrow night by bus to the airport. bit of a bummer, because transport does not reflect my flight, so I will be at the airport around 6:30 Monday morning while my flight is at 7pm in the evening. So is going to be a long wait. first i fly to Johannesburg, where I only have 1.5 / 2 hours waiting and then 11:30 i thin I fly to Amsterdam.

is a long journey. but it is how it is.
